For generations, communities across the African and Caribbean diaspora—and around the world—have practiced a trusted form of collective saving called Rotating Savings and Credit Associations, or ROSCAs.
At their core, ROSCAs are simple: a group of people come together, contribute money regularly, and take turns receiving a lump sum. But their impact goes far beyond the financial. These circles build trust, confidence, and a sense of shared responsibility. They remind us that when we pool our resources, we all rise together.
The Banker Ladies Council, believe in the power of community-based finance. We're here to share the knowledge, stories, and tools needed to keep this tradition alive and strong.
